Sasountsi Davit Ballet-Oratorio
A unique stage interpretation of the Armenian epic “David of Sassoun”
premieres on December 18 and 19 at the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Commissioned by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, the Hogh Arthun ethno-electro group presents a bold new ballet-oratorio, merging tradition and modern electronic sound.
